Been doing this thing where I imagine fake bands and generate their debut album covers. It's weirdly fun and kind of helps me understand composition better?
Some recent ones I made:
- "Neon Static" (synthwave band) - used Midjourney with lots of pink/purple gradients
- "The Rusted Gears" (industrial folk??) - DALL-E 3 did surprisingly well with the vibe
- "Velvet Echo" (dream pop) - Stable Diffusion with some Photoshop touchups
Not trying to sell these or anything, just enjoying the creative process. The AI handles the technical execution and I focus on the concept/direction. Feels collaborative in a strange way.
Anyone else doing creative stuff with AI just for fun? What's been working for you?
