I have to admit, I find this whole direction a bit worrying.
Seeing AI quietly slide ads into the actual output, not in a sidebar or banner, feels rough. When an assistant that is supposed to help you instead nudges you toward a product in the middle of a vulnerable moment, something is off.
It is not just advertising anymore. It is advertising blended into the conversation itself. You cannot block it. You cannot avoid it. It becomes part of the advice, part of the tone, part of the answers we rely on.
I get that companies need business models, but it feels sad to watch something that had so much potential for genuine help turn into another channel for commercial influence. And if this becomes normal, we will not even notice the shift.
Just feels like a small glimpse into a future where the line between help and sales is almost gone.
