Just saw this today the Bank of England just issued a warning about a potential "sharp correction" in major tech company valuations, specifically calling out concerns around an AI bubble.
Apparently they're worried that tech giants are spending massive amounts on AI infrastructure (data centers, chips, energy) but the actual returns might not justify these investments. We're talking about companies pouring billions into AI capabilities while the realworld revenue impact is still unclear.
What do you think? Are we actually in an AI bubble, or is this just traditional finance not understanding transformative technology? The spending is definitely real, but is the panic justified?
