Slightly petty UX rant: some of these new AI IDEs nail the model and completely whiff the basics.
Tried one yesterday where the agent was smart, but there was no clear history, no way to pin prompts, and the inline suggestions kept covering line numbers.
Tiny stuff, but when you're there all day, it matters more than another +2% benchmark. Which editor actually feels pleasant to live in right now?
